PU HMONG ECO RETREAT Tour information 1. Bac Ha market on Sunday tour $119 solo traveler - 88$/ 1person( 2-5 peoples ) Starts at 6:30am, spend three hours joining the local tribal peoples including Flower H’mong, Black Zao, Phu La and Tay for the market activities and festive atmosphere. All peoples in their best traditional costume gather every Sunday for shopping, but socializing is of great importance. The cattle and clothing sections are the most interesting until 11.00 and then come the food section where peoples meet, talk, enjoy food and especially drink a kind of locally made corn-wine.And then Return the town for lunch. In the afternoon, spend time visiting another village (BanPho village)That's an old village more than 100 years old. Say goodbye to BacHa and get back to Sapa. On the way back, drop in to see the Vietnamese and Chinese Harbour Mouth in LaoCai. 2. One day tour discovering Sapa villages and minorities by trekking: Option 1: Lao Chai – Y Linh Ho – San II – San I. $68 solo traveler - 49$/ 1person( 2-5 peoples ) At 9:30 am the guide greeting at Pu Hmong. You start trekking from Chapa Farmstay to the villages. Walking along the main road 3km then going up to Y Linh Ho village of Black H’mong minority. Continue trekking 4km you will get to San II village and stop there to have picnic lunch near the Village. After lunch you keep going through San II to San I village of Hmong minority about 3km. You will go around the village,walking through terrace fields, and then go back to Pu Hmong. Option 2: Lao Chai - Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai. a, At 9:30 am the guide pick you up at Pu Hmong , taking you about 3km to Lao Chai village of Black H'mong minority. You start trekking from Pu Hmong, walking through terrace fields to Ta Van of Zay minority. After that keep going through Bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai village of Red Dao minority. Stop near a small waterfall and Rattan suspension bridge - one of the best places to relax. You might stop at the homestay of Zay people or a local restaurant for lunch. You will have a chance to get a nice and real experience of daily life or school activities of local hill tribes in Sapa.Transfer back to Pu Hmong by Car. $68 solo traveler - 50$/ 1person( 2-5 peoples ) b, At 9:30 am the guide pick up at Pu Hmong, taking 5km to Ta Van village, jouney cooking class with local family ( on frie palce ), after lunch time learn how to do batilk or emboidery local pattern and then take the transportation back to Pu Hmong. . $85 solo traveler - 65$/ 1person( 2-5 peoples ) Option 3: Sapa - Suoi Ho - Ma Tra - Ta Phin. $72 solo traveler - 50$/ 1person( 2-5 peoples ) At 9:30 am the guide and driver pick you up at Homestay and then you will start trekking from Sapa through beautiful mountain town to Suoi Ho by buffalo trails to reach to Ma Tra village of Black H'mong people. You have a chance to see one of the peaceful and spectacular rice paddy, corn and artichoke plantations, visiting local schools. Going through a terraced rice field in Ta Phin village of Black H'mong and Red Dao people. Stop for lunch on the way at a local restaurant or homestay. After lunch you visit Ta phin cave and see local families or try some local herbal bath of Red Dao people. Transfer back to Lao Chai by minivan/car. Option 4: Sapa - Sa seng - Hang da - Hau thao - Tavan $72 solo traveler - 50$/ 1person( 2-5 peoples ) You will start at 9.00am and the guide and driver pick you up at Pu Hmong . Hiking uphill to the villages of Sa seng and Hang da of Black H'mong people from Sapa town. You will have a chance to see the remote and quiet village with a nice terrace rice field and typical fruit plantation in this area, enjoy amazing views and from Hang da - Hau thao you can see the whole panorama of Sapa biggest mountain and valley - less tourists come here. Then you go down hill to Ta van village of Day people and be transfer back to Pu Hmong by car. Option 5: Sapa - Silver Waterfall - Golden Stream - Love Waterfall and Heaven’s Gate $75/ 1 car Beside you can rent the car with driver only of tour Silver and Love waterfall, Tram Ton pass and Heaven gate.You can invite some friend to go with you,must be cheaper, you don’t need to book the guide our driver can show you the ways, you will buy the ticket buy yourself A short drive of 30 mins to the silver waterfall which offers you great views of the surrounding mountains. You will spend around 30mins in a silver waterfall. The car will take you to the gate of Love waterfall and drop you there. You will enjoy yourself there by walking 1.2km for two ways, visiting the golden stream and love waterfall. After a rest, continue uphill to the Heaven’sGate.(TramTon). And then back to Sapa by car.) Option 6: Pu Hmong – Cat Cat – Sinh Chai $68 solo traveler - 49$/ 1person( 2-5 peoples ) Start at Homestay 8:45am the guide and driver pick you up at Homestay to Sapa you will walk down the valley toward Cat Cat village for about 4km. While walking you will see an old French hydroelectric power station which was built in the early 20th century. On the way to Cat Cat village of Black h’mong people, you have the opportunity to see the villages working on the paddy fields, their children playing around and the animal, such as water-buffaloes, pot-bellied pigs and chickens after crossing a village, you will hike to Sinh Chai village that situated on the bottom of Fansipang mountain, and then return back to Pu Hmong by car. 3. Two days tour (Discover Muong Hoa Valley) Option 1: Lao Chai – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Ban Ho. $155 solo traveler - 88$/ 1person( 2-5 peoples ) First day: Depart at 9:30 am and trekking 12km, visit three villages of 2 minorities Black H’mong and Zay. Lunch on the way and dinner with a local family. Stay overnight in a traditional house of the Zay or Hmong people in Su Pan Village. Second day: After breakfast at homestay, say goodbye to the family and start trekking through the mountain to Ban Ho villages stop for lunch on the way, after lunch you will walk to visit Ban ho Village and then come back to Pu Hmong by car. Option 2: Lao Chai – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Seo Trung Ho – Ma Quai Ho – Bản Hồ. $155 solo traveler - 88$/ 1person( 2-5 peoples ) First day: Depart at 8: 45 am and trekking km, 15khm and visit three villages of 3 minorities Black H’mong, Zay, Red Dzao. Have lunch on the way and dinner with a local family. Stay overnight in a traditional house of the Red Dzao people in Seo Trung Ho Village. Second day: After breakfast at homestay, say goodbye to the family and start trekking through the mountain and visit 2 villages Ma Quai Ho and Ban Ho village. Stop for lunch in the Ban Ho village, after lunch the car/taxi will pick you and then come back to Lao Chai by car/taxi. Option 3: Fansipan Hiking One day hiking $250 solo traveler - 170$/ 1person( 2-5 peoples ) Depart 5:00 am at Homestay by car/tax to Tram Ton Pass. Then trekking from Tram Tôn Pass to Fansipan Mountain 23km. Have lunch on the high mountain 2.800m. After lunch, trekking more and conquer Fansipang mountain and visit Fansipang mountain. Then you will take a cable car return to Cable car station and a taxi will pick you up and come back to Pu Hmong.
